" Ride Through The Rockies" 2015 was bigger and better than last year. 21 riders signed the board to ride for "Habitat for Humanity". We raised over $125,000 to put a family into a new home in Calgary. Weather and elevation was challenging but we all met the challenge with enthusiasm and pride in our accomplishment. I'm definitely in for next year!

Another Across the lake swim completed. Ideal conditions this year allowed a 44 minute time...a nice improvement over my 2 hour swim last year. I may have to start taking this serious and see what I can do. So far, its just been getting up to Ironman distance so that I can eventually do an Ironman.

Toni and I are looking forward to another "Ride Through The Rockies" 400 km 4 day ride in support of Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta division. Last year we raised over $70,000 with 13 riders. This year we hope to have 25 riders and raise over $100,000. The goal of the sponsor, Star Building Materials, is to raise enough money to fund a complete home for a worthy family.
If you feel inclined, please donate whatever you can to this worthy cause.
Check out the new website for the ride:

Toni and I had a great time at Robb's Ride in Grand Forks. 3 days of great friends, great scenery and great food.

Holy Cow!!! already well into the new year. The past few months has been Prolotherapy and IMS on my back and hips. Feeling a lot stronger and hope to start running again end of February.
Trying to stay in some sort of shape by exercising, spinning and swimming. Luckily I feel pretty good on the bike and I am planning on doing some century rides and distance rides this year. If I am able to run I just may enter an ultra this summer or fall. I really miss all of my running buddies.
Happy New Year Everyone!
