4-1/2 months after my bike accident I am finally beginning to feel like things will get back to normal for me. I am able to ride, swim and hike.  Next week I am going to try a little trail run with some of my friends and hopefully use it as a start to training and racing again.
I managed to hike the High Note Trail at Whistler while there for the MYM 50 mile and did a 14k hike on the Autumn Rush Trail Race course Saturday. Very slow getting my range of motion and strength back and the screws thru my hip give me a lot of trouble.  Just one more pain for an ultra runner to deal with. Isn't that what makes us strong and able to endure the tortuous miles?
